Energy cleansing - Beatles Ashram in Rishikesh
An energetic renaissance in the heart of a legendary place
A place steeped in history and spirituality
Located in Rishikesh, at the foot of the Himalayas and bordered by the Ganges River, the ashram known today as the Beatles Ashram is an iconic site of the Western spiritual quest of the 1960s.
Built in the 1960s, this ashram was originally the training center of the spiritual master Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of Transcendental Meditation. It welcomed seekers of meaning from all over the world, eager to explore consciousness and inner peace.
The Beatles' visit: a cultural turning point
In 1968, the legendary group The Beatles spent several weeks at this ashram. This retreat profoundly marked their artistic and personal journeys.
The band members – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr – came here to deepen their meditative practice, far from the media frenzy.
During this stay, they composed a large portion of the songs for The White Album. This period is recognized as one of the most prolific of their career, fueled by introspection, silence, and inner exploration.
A defining experience… and a turning point
However, this stay also marked a darker turning point. Tensions emerged, accompanied by disillusionment with the Maharishi. Gradually, the members left the ashram, each at their own pace.
This episode contributed to exacerbating the internal divisions within the group. Shortly afterward, the Beatles began a phase of gradual separation, which would lead to their official breakup in 1970.
Thus, the ashram remains both a symbol of intense creativity and a major transition in the group's history.
A place abandoned… then rediscovered
After the Maharishi's departure and the closure of the site, the ashram was gradually abandoned for several decades. Nature is reclaiming its territory, covering the structures and transforming the site into a mystical vestige, imbued with a unique atmosphere.
Today, the site has been partially restored and is open to visitors. It attracts travelers from all over the world, fascinated by its history, its energy, and its unique aura.
Téléphane Énergie's Intervention – February 2026
In February 2026, the association Téléphane Énergie – Éditions et Multimédia (T-E-E-M) carried out an intervention at this exceptional site.
A symbolic energetic cleansing
During a half-day intervention, we performed an energetic reset of the ashram.
This action, both symbolic and intentional, aimed to:
• Release residual memories linked to past events
• Reharmonize the energies of the place
• Foster a rise in its vibrational frequency
• Restore a dynamic conducive to peace, creation, and reconnection
This intervention was carried out with the support and contribution of artificial intelligence, integrated as a tool to amplify intentions and structure the energetic work.
A contribution to the rebirth of the place
Through this approach, we hope to have contributed, on our scale, to the subtle reconstruction of the ashram.
This place, already imbued with a strong spiritual and artistic dimension, can thus continue to evolve towards:
• A space for profound renewal
• A symbol of individual and collective transformation
• A meeting point between history, consciousness, and creation
A vision turned towards the future
This project fully illustrates Téléphane Énergie's mission:
To work with places steeped in history to reveal their potential, while supporting the evolution of collective energies.
The Beatles Ashram now embodies a bridge between past and future:
• Cultural and spiritual heritage
• Energetic transformation
• Opening to new forms of consciousness
We are honored to have contributed to this dynamic, with a respectful, innovative, and profoundly human approach.
